@RedDeadRisen@UnseenWyoGal@sola_chad Its the Catholic Church, not the "Roman Catholic Church", educate yourself. It was founded by Christ. Easter is the memorial feast of the passion and death of our Lord Jesus Christ. I dont bake religious cakes or burn incense. You are an ignorant, bigotted heretic, fact.
@BIG_SGT_D Thomas, it seems you are ignorant of the fact that the catholic Church wrote and canonized the entire NT.
The main beliefs of Catholicism are below, please explain why you call the Church started by Jesus Christ is "satans counterfeit".
@UnseenWyoGal@RedDeadRisen@sola_chad Do all generations call you blessed? No. Does your soul magnify the Lord? Most certainly not. Did a sword pierce your soul as you watched your Son, Jesus Christ, tortured and crucified? Your hubris & ignorance in equating yourself with the mother of God is amazing.
@UnseenWyoGal@RedDeadRisen@sola_chad She conceived, bore, nursed, & raised Him, asked Him to perform His first miracle (which he obiged), and watched Him die on the cross, and "she's just like every other female Christian"? You dont even believe that. If you do, you dont really believe that Jesus Christ is God.
@RedDeadRisen@UnseenWyoGal@sola_chad Jesus did not tell John to take her into His home. Mary had no one else to care for her. Jesus had no blood relatives aside from Mary. If he did she would have went to live with them, as is Jewish custom, then and now.
@p3driver@UcheMaryOkoli She was already saved, by God, and for God. Talk to me when God chooses you to conceive, bear, nurse, and protect the King of the Universe.
@adelethelaptop How was Jesus conceived into a sinful womb? Why would you believe this? The blessed virgin was preserved from sin by God, for God. Protestants dont understand that by minimizing Mary, you minimize Christ. Her soul magnifies Christ, by minimizing her, you minimize Christ.
@BibleInContext1 For someone who claims to be an ex-Catholic, you are extremely ignorant of actual, historical Christianity.
Stop your hateful public slander (for profit, at that) and conduct yourself as Jesus and His Apostles and disciples directed.
2 Tim 2:23-25
Gal 5:15, 5:26
@UnseenWyoGal@RedDeadRisen@sola_chad ...effort to justify her going to live with John instead of "her other children", but Jesus did not tell John to take her into his home.
Your attempts to deny admitting Mary is your mother in Christ are silly. She is Christs mother, she must therefore be your mother in Christ.
@UnseenWyoGal@RedDeadRisen@sola_chad and if you are a Christian, to deny she is also your mother in the same way she is Johns makes no sense at all. Outside of Christianity, she is no ones mother but Jesus. Do you not claim to be a Christian?
Also, there was no command by Jesus, you keep saying that in an...
@RexdaleOG@ChristandGuitar@ASingeveryday Indeed. These people dont understand that they are saying Jesus was wrong and/or failed, and by consistently insisting he has, all they are accomplishing is planting doubt in believing Christians. Its quite ignorant, honestly.
@ChristandGuitar "Would the Holy Spirit allow the Church to fall into error for 1500 years?" No it wouldnt, because Jesus promised it wouldnt and gave to Peter as head of the Church authority to make binding declarations for the faith in MT 16:18-19. The Orthodox are in error by denying...
@UnseenWyoGal@RedDeadRisen@sola_chad 1.) Because you claim Mary had other children than Jesus.
2.) John was not Mary's son & Mary was not his mother. (Except in and through Christ, which you illogically deny in your ignorant bigotry.)
3.) So they let their elderly mom watch their brother be executed alone?
@UnseenWyoGal@RedDeadRisen@sola_chad So you concede that Mary is Johns mother in Christ, but not yours?
Jesus didnt tell Mary to go live with John, and didnt tell John to take her into his home. He told them, "Behold your mother, and behold your son."
@PartBaptist1689@AN1Guitarman Calvin did not hold the same views as Luther, way to dodge the point of developing doctrine.
The Orthodox and Catholics were the same Church until the 1050's. Their doctrines are still extremely similar.
