A truly remarkable achievement. 🖤💛
Last week @tynephil completed the incredible 385-mile walk from South London to Gateshead.
After travelling for just under 5 weeks, Philip raised just over £1,500 for Oasis Community Housing.

First day of my walk from London to Gateshead using @SlowWaysUK . Lonpec one, Lonmon two, Monliv one, Lindal one and Dalwal one. All already with snails. A great day if a little hot 🔥
Walked 5 @SlowWaysUK routes today from Peckham to Walthmstow. Great to share parts of my walk with @slowways_danb , my friend Alison and my son @jonlemarquand
Philip is on day 3 of his epic 385 mile fundraising walk. From our South London projects to our homelessness drop in in Gateshead. Follow his progress and support his journey here

Some species of gray langurs have a special relationship with Spotted Deer
They notify each other when predators approach
In return, the langurs give the deer fruit from tall trees the deer can’t reach
This type of relationship is called mutualism

@TalktoBeverley@TyneSnapper It's awful, such a cruel thing to do. What a waste. I've just gone for a late night walk past and it looks a huge, scratty mess. I can literally see the bare spots where I planted hydrangea bushes with my kids, they've been completely ripped out and destroyed.
@Dobsons5 They said they were just cutting back the weeds.... They've literally cut to the ground countless shrubs, perennials and grasses. It's crazy.
@LaineyFrancis_ It really, really is. I feel sick thinking of my dad's sadness when he sees it. He's not home until the weekend. So much love has gone into this garden.
