@JayHulmePoet I empathise but i urge you to embrace it - after two years of walking with poles and over 1000 miles last year I am now comfortable walking with backpack and poles anywhere.

I got into posting stuff on my walk from London2Gateshead using @SlowWaysUK and enjoyed the community then picked up @Right_2Roam stuff - then @churchofengland then stuff around LGBTQI issues and discovered inspirational people - I am glad I can still retreat to my blog though
