We are now watching a TV show about the history of the Hakone ekiden.
And I'm thinking "If I"X" about this, will anyone other than the SouthAfricanBogan who bought the company understand my "X"???
Probably not. And I'm pretty sure the South African Bogan won't either ๐ฎ
There was a time when at 10 o'clock on a Saturday night we would be entering the club to see that night's bands. We'd get home around 3 or 4am.
I'm now lying on the floor at 10pm struggling to stay awake ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ
It's now 10pm on Saturday night, & I am starting to fall asleep at the same time that the bands used to start their 1st set.
At this rate, I will wake up on Sunday morning earlier than I used to get home on Saturday nights ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ
Was watching the Sumo yesterday & my TV showed a woman in the arena wearing a "Chicago Bears Super Bowl XX" sweatshirt.
I thought "S*** man, you must be getting really old if you are shocked to see someone wearing that shirt on your TV!" ๐ฎ

They are now fighting over what temperature to set the heater at. Trust me, this is not what I envisaged when I proposed marriage long, long ago.
Be careful out there kids! ๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ฎ
@billyj41 ...where the f*** did the last 35 years go???
But then again, I still think of myself as a "recent" university graduate who is still trying to adjust to that "new" reality ๏ฟฝ๏ฟฝ
My 20 year old son is now at a baseball game in Tokyo Dome, he'll be home around midnight. I'm worrying, thinking "My God, that's too late!".
Then I recalled that when we were 17 we once drove down to Seattle to see Aerosmith in The Kingdome.
You can only shake your head ๐ฎ
@billyj41 Was at NHL draft in Montreal in '88. 2nd overall pick, by Canucks, was guy named Trevor Lindon.
Today was watching Canucks game on NHLtv on my Amazon Fire Stick. An ad comes on, it's a gray haired Trevor Lindon selling health products for middle age & elderly men. I thought...
Sheldon Neuse's HR in Game 6 was the first Tigers HR in a Nippon Series game by a non-Japanese hitter since Randy Bass in 1985

The final game of the Japan Series is underway and Osaka police are preparing for a possible Hanshin Tigers victory, after which numerous fans could try to celebrate by jumping into the Dotonbori River.
Personally, I also thought it was a little early in the game for a sacrifice bunt. But, on the other hand, it IS Japanese baseball that I'm watching ๐
@MissBrownsBoy@futurecodejp Actually, I'm hoping to head out on the town tonight to meet some busty young women.
But I think I need to take a nap first. Wish me luck! ๐๐๐
@futurecodejp@MissBrownsBoy Before seeing your tweet/X I had thought that all the busty young women had suddenly started following me because of my incredibly handsome profile picture!
But perhaps I was mistaken โน๏ธ
... understand why our parents tried to stop us from going." And I can still smell the pot being smoked all around us.
It's mind blowing if you think too much about it ๐
I was just worrying because my now 17-year-old half-Japanese daughter is now out on the town in Ikebukuro on a Saturday night with her friends.
And then I thought "At the same age, you & Richie once drove down to Seattle to see Aerosmith in The Kingdome. And we couldn't...
