NASA wants to send a nuclear-powered rover to the lunar surface.
YES, it's really great for the 2 weeks of lunar night, extremely cold (−246 °C) and the nuclear powered RTG can keep the electronics warm enough to boot back up once the lunar day returns. I totally agree with using a small nuclear powered thermo-electric generator sent to the moon on a rover lander. Use solar panels during the boiling hot daylight and use a RTG during the night while in the cryogenic darkness. Here's an AI image of what the RTG powered rover on the moon might look like:
