Meet Israel Alexander — a 24-year-old volunteer who showed incredible courage during the Venezuela earthquake response. Israel used his life savings, travelled over six hours, and arrived with only a backpack and the clothes he was wearing — all to help others.

He volunteered as a translator for UK ISAR, supporting teams, authorities, and local communities when communication mattered most.

I went back to La Guaira yesterday and there was a different kind of sadness. Not the shock and panic of the first few days but almost an emptiness. It felt quieter - buildings and piles of rubble, but abandonded, now without anyone scouring through them.

At other sites there were noisy diggers clearing the dusty concrete and remnants of people's lives - books, clothes, broken furniture. Most of the international rescue teams had gone, much of the press had too.

I spoke to one guy who had written 'We are alive' on the outside of his house to let people know he and his mother were ok if he nipped out anywhere. But speaking to him I found out his two daughters had been killed in Catia la Mar. He was far from ok.

Another guy walked out from a collapsed building that was mostly concrete slabs and told me he was picking up the remains of his brother and nephew. The remains were just bones. The earthquake had started a small fire that burned their bodies.

A nun stood looking at a heap of debris. I wondered what she was thinking, trying to make sense of it all. And probably unable to.

Denuncia pública.

Hace dos horas, el rapero @boikido denunció que funcionarios de la DGCIM llegaron a su residencia para, una vez más, acosar e intimidar a quienes desean un cambio real para Venezuela.

Puedo confirmar esta información porque, después de publicar la fotografía compartida por @Southcom, fui contactado por un funcionario activo que nos suministra información verificada. Según esa información, se había iniciado un proceso de vigilancia en su contra y contra un par de personas más.

Intenté contactar al rapero para advertirle de la situación, pero hasta el momento no ha sido posible establecer comunicación.

Esto es lo que hace el régimen, perseguir e intimidar a quienes considera una amenaza.

La responsabilidad de estos actos recae sobre @dcabellor y @grankoarteagaGK, ha establecido centros de vigilancia con cámaras a nivel nacional los cuales están supervisados por funcionarios de su confianza que le informan en tiempo real las 24 horas a través de un grupo de telegram.
Utilizan las sedes del sistema de emergencia VEN911 para hacer seguimiento activo y luego verificarlo con agentes en la calle.
