During the program, host Thierry Ardisson and comedian Laurent Baffie put the Brazilian star in what many viewers considered an uncomfortable and humiliating situation.

Much of the teasing centered on the sweater Ronaldinho was wearing. Unaware of its personal significance, Baffie reportedly asked Ronaldinho if he was bisexual and, after he denied it, repeatedly pressured him to take off the sweater. Ronaldinho later explained that it was the last gift his grandmother had given him before she passed away, and he wore it because it helped him feel close to her.
