Apply the Peter Principle to the entire human species at an evolutionary level and ask yourself whether humanity can survive in the long run, or will it become extinct upon reaching its level of incompetence as technology advances beyond reach or reason?
All the “isms” will fade to dust when the new order of silicone life-forms take over. “Who will guard the guards?” was the old question.

The west should study its own ancient history and realize that it’s the “_ocracies” more than the “_isms.”
The success of capitalism or communism requires faith, like Catholicism, Judaism, Hinduism… name your “ism.”
Like religion, the actual success of any of the monetary “isms,” the so-called “science of economics,” hinges on the morality of the aristocracy, oligarchy, democracy, monarchy and especially the ochlocracy*, the small mafias that are empowered by all of the other “name your___ocracies.”

An example of amoral capitalism is profiting from human misery, ie. health insurance. But the aristocracy and democracy endorse it. The HI mafias profit… Ochlocratic Rule.

Construction was halted in 1973, so the second tower was “half-insulated.” I was a bike messenger in NYC and passed this site often. It was so strange when construction stopped. At the time, many people’s opinion was that they built an eyesore, but how to demolish it?🤔
