@NationalPulseNG@Chude_ND1 There are oil fields in Andoni, and that's what the government is interested in Nigeria. But the LGA like every other Oil producing LGAs at least in Rivers State, doesn't look like an LGA producing what contributes to sustain Abuja and the rest of the country.
No skin in the game. And so literally anything can go as policy for education and health ministries. You wonder why education and health institutions in Nigeria are becoming a shadow of themselves. The people in charge don't trust what they're doing enough for their wards to benefit from.
Weโre solving the Olodo uprising pandemic, one NYSC at a time. Thatโs our contribution to society.
Thatโs why @Tunde_OD, @hackSultan and I are launching a โฆ250 Million Scholarship Fund to help recent graduates gain real, in-demand tech skills that lead to jobs.
Each successful applicant will receive a โฆ160,000 scholarship towards a 9โ12 month AltSchool Africa diploma in any course of their choice. Beyond technical training, participants will also receive career support and internship/job opportunities through Jobs59.
We also know that learning without a laptop is a major barrier, so weโll be providing laptops to a select number of scholarship recipients through an additional application process.
If you know a recent graduate who deserves this opportunity, share this post with them.
