Is he done ranting about the 24K I pay for his housing scam because kuna hii 43k I pay every month for his SHA scam we also need to discuss. Tukimaliza hio ndio tuongee juu ya the 500k in PAYE he takes every single month and splashes on tea and mandazi pale state house all the while insulting us the taxpayers that carry the burden of his greed. In 2027 we are cutting the fat out of our budget to bring relief to all Kenyan workers. The housing levy will go with Ruto.
There’s this one small detail that most Christians miss when they read the biblical story of Jacob, Rachel and Leah and when you see it, you can’t unsee it. Check this out.
Jacob falls in love with Rachel. Her father, Laban, tells him he must work seven years to marry her. So Jacob works seven years. But Laban deceives him and gives him Leah, Rachel’s older sister, instead. Now, I always thought Jacob had to work ANOTHER seven years before finally receiving Rachel.
But that’s NOT what the Bible says.
In Genesis 29:26–27, Laban tells Jacob: “Wait until the bridal *week* is over; then we’ll give you Rachel, too—provided you promise to work another seven years for me.”
Jacob received Rachel just ONE WEEK after marrying Leah. He received her FIRST, then worked another seven years!
Let me unpack this.
Initially, Jacob had LABORED for seven years, yet his labor didn't produce the marriage he expected. Interestingly, the name Leah in Hebrew may mean ‘weary’ or ‘exhausted.’
That reminds me of something Scripture teaches about the Law. No matter how hard you WORK, TRY, or STRIVE, you won’t be able to be made right before God in your own capacity. Paul literally says this in Romans 3:20.
Now, with Rachel, Jacob did not have to work ANOTHER seven years. Instead, he received Rachel FIRST…and then, he worked another 7 years.
The name Rachel in Hebrew means “sheep” or “little lamb.”
1800 years later there would come a man whom John the Baptist said of him… “behold the *lamb* of God who takes away the sins of the world.” And it’s because of his shed blood… that today, we are not under the law but we are under a covenant of grace.
We don’t have to WORK to earn God’s love. Just as Jacob received Rachel FIRST and then worked another seven years, we receive God’s love FIRST through Christ, and our “works” follow as a RESPONSE to His grace.
Laban was a *deceitful* father in law. Today you and I have a *trustworthy* Father in Heaven.
Which means that the gospel is not about TRYING… it’s about TRUSTING.
Under the Law, our works could never make us right with God.
But under Grace, Jesus, the lamb of God, is the one who makes us right with God.
And our works become a RESPONSE…not a REQUIREMENT for salvation.
If Raila were alive and contesting in 2027, Ruto would not be scared as he is today. They knew Raila, understood his political machinery, could estimate his support base, they could easily predict his moves and had mastered the art of dealing with him.
Kalonzo, too, is a familiar political player whose support base is relatively predictable. Ruto is comfortable facing Kalonzo at the ballot.
But Sifuna is a different equation altogether. A new entrant with a national, tribeless appeal, no known skeletons in his closet, an unquantifiable support base and the potential to electrify Kenya’s youthful voters. He is very scaring.
Ruto knows how to fight the old political battles. But Sifuna represents an entirely new political phenomenon—and nobody knows how far his appeal could go.
DUALE, KENYANS DEMAND ANSWERS.
Kenya had months of warning about Ebola. The Ministry announced enhanced border surveillance and preparedness, and Duale told Parliament that Sh2.6 billion was required to prepare for the first 100 cases. Yet a patient reportedly sick for about a month, treated in the DRC and travelling through Kampala, reached JKIA, underwent Port Health screening and proceeded through immigration before being taken directly to Nairobi Hospital, where doctors identified the danger and tested him. If the system was ready, why did the airport screening not trigger further assessment? Preparedness cannot be measured by press conferences and budget announcements; it must be measured by what happens when the first suspected case actually arrives.
The DRC provides an even darker warning. In 2018, Ebola was cited when voting was postponed in Beni and Butembo, opposition strongholds, excluding more than 1.2 million registered voters from voting on the scheduled election day. Opposition leaders, activists and civil society condemned the decision, while residents staged symbolic elections in protest. In 2026, restrictions on political meetings and demonstrations during another Ebola outbreak again triggered accusations from opposition and civil-society actors that public-health powers were being used to suppress dissent. Whether every allegation was justified or not, the lesson is undeniable: once an epidemic intersects with an election, health measures can acquire profound political consequences.
That is why Kenya must think ahead. A health emergency must never become a democratic emergency. If Ebola requires restrictions on movement or rallies, the government must publish the medical evidence, define the geographical scope, set clear time limits and apply the rules equally to government and opposition. The Ministry must protect Kenyans from Ebola, but it must also demonstrate competence, transparency and respect for democratic freedoms. We cannot afford a health response that fails at the border and a political response that succeeds in closing the democratic space as Kenya heads towards general elections.
What to Pray When the Eucharist is Raised at Consecration
At every Mass, there is a sacred moment when time seems to stand still. The priest raises the consecrated Host high above the altar and says,
“This is My Body.”
In that instant, Heaven touches earth. Jesus is truly present, Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity, right before our eyes.
It’s not just a ritual. It’s a moment of deep adoration.
So what should we pray in that holy silence?
Here are a few powerful prayers you can say silently in your heart as the Host is elevated:
. “My Lord and my God!”
These are the words of St. Thomas the Apostle when he saw the risen Christ. A perfect act of faith in Jesus’ Real Presence in the Eucharist.
. “Jesus, I love You. I adore You. I believe in You. I trust in You.”
Simple, heartfelt, and so pleasing to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
. “O Sacrament most holy, O Sacrament divine, all praise and all thanksgiving be every moment Thine.”
. “Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner.”
Said with true humility before the One who can forgive everything.
. “Jesus, I adore You with the Heart of Mary.”
Uniting our poor love with Our Lady’s perfect love.
. Whisper your own private intentions
The Elevation is the high point of the Holy Mass. Don’t let it pass by in distraction. Let your heart rise with the Host. Look at Jesus and adore Him. This is the moment He gives Himself completely to us, let us give ourselves completely to Him.
Next time you’re at Mass, be ready. When the priest lifts up Our Lord, let your soul whisper its love.
Most Sacred Heart of Jesus,
I trust in You♥️ .
My Jesus Mercy,
Merciful Jesus, help me!
Help me with my fears..
When I'm afraid of tomorrow,

📖 Psalm 51:1 — “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.”
𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥
Heavenly Father, I cry out to You today for mercy. Your Word says in Psalm 51:1, “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness.” Lord, according to Your lovingkindness, wipe away my sins, every error, and every shortcoming in my life. Wash me completely and let Your mercy restore me. Let Your compassion silence every accusation against me, and let Your mercy rewrite my story today, in Jesus’ mighty name.
I stand on Your Word in Hebrews 4:16 and ask that Your mercy meet me in every area of my life—in my health, family, finances, and destiny. Let Your mercy speak on my behalf. Wherever judgment or trouble was waiting for me, let Your mercy intervene and turn it into favor, in Jesus’ name.
I declare that wherever judgment rises against me, Your mercy will respond. Every mistake or misstep that could have brought consequences is covered by Your mercy. Father, let Your mercy triumph in my life today and release favor and blessing upon me, in Jesus’ name.
Father, arise and help me today. Let Your mercy bring help where I cannot help myself. Send divine assistance into every situation troubling my life, and let Your mercy turn my struggles into testimonies, in Jesus’ mighty name.
Lord, I lift my voice to You today, asking that Your abundant mercy flow over my life. Deliver me from every trouble, attack, and scheme of the enemy. Let Your mercy protect me, guide me, preserve me, and bring me into complete victory, in Jesus’ mighty name.
I decree and declare: Lord, let Your mercy follow me everywhere I go. Let mercy accompany my steps, speak in my favor, and open doors that no man can shut. From today, I walk in divine mercy and supernatural favor, in Jesus’ mighty name.
Heavenly Father, let Your mercy restore everything I have lost. Restore my opportunities, my blessings, my peace, and my joy. Let Your mercy bring back what I have lost and restore what has been broken. Let restoration and divine favor follow me, in Jesus’ mighty name.

PROPHETIC DECLARATIONS FOR THE LAST WEEK OF SEPTEMBER 🔥
As we enter the final week of September, I declare according to the Word of God:
You will not end this month in shame. The Lord will crown your year with His goodness, and your paths will overflow with abundance. (Psalm 65:11)
What God has spoken concerning you will not fail. Every promise He has made, He is faithful to fulfil. (Joshua 21:45)
This week, the Lord will go before you. He will make the crooked places straight, break gates of bronze and cut through bars of iron. (Isaiah 45:2)
You will not be stranded. The Lord is your shepherd; you shall not want. He will lead you beside still waters and restore your soul. (Psalm 23:1–3)
Every weapon formed against you shall not prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment shall be condemned. (Isaiah 54:17)
You will walk in divine strength. You will run and not be weary; you will walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)
The Lord will establish the work of your hands. What you begin in obedience will receive His blessing. (Psalm 90:17)
You will experience restoration. God will restore the years that seemed lost, and you will testify of His faithfulness. (Joel 2:25–26)
You will receive good news. Your ears will hear reports that cause you to rejoice and give glory to God. (Proverbs 25:25)
This week, you will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13)
You will not die before seeing what God has promised concerning your life. You will live, and you will declare the works of the Lord. (Psalm 27:13)
As September comes to an end, you will not end it empty-handed. May the Lord cause you to finish this month with gratitude, testimonies, divine direction and renewed strength.
The God who kept you from January until now will keep you to the end.
In Jesus' name, Amen! 🔥
Bomas Cannot Rewrite Your Vote: But is this Judgement Enough?
The High Court has made an important ruling about the 2027 presidential election. In simple words, the court said once a constituency announces and signs its presidential result, nobody at the county office or Bomas should change it. Not the IEBC Chairperson. Not a commissioner. Not an officer. Only a court can change it. That is the correct starting point because the vote does not belong to IEBC, politicians, courts or government. It belongs to the Mwananchi who wakes up, queues, votes and goes home hoping that their choice will be counted exactly as cast. A result from your polling station and constituency is the people’s instruction.
The Court says the National Tallying Centre is still legal. But it has placed a strict limit on it. IEBC may add up constituency results and check whether a candidate has met the constitutional threshold for President. It may not use “verification” as an excuse to correct, replace, cancel or secretly alter a constituency result. That distinction is important. “Tallying” should mean adding numbers. “Verifying” should mean checking whether the numbers being added are the same numbers already declared at the constituency. It must never mean inventing a new result in Nairobi. The national centre is supposed to be an adding machine and not a second election.
However, this judgment must also be criticised. The Court is right that the presidential election requires a national calculation. A President must win more than half of all votes cast and at least 25% of the votes in more than half of Kenya’s counties. That cannot be checked in one constituency. But this does not justify a vague or powerful national verification process. The National Tallying Centre should only answer two questions. First, do the national totals match the final constituency forms? Second, has any candidate reached the constitutional threshold? It should not become a place where officers make new judgments about which votes to accept, which figures to change or which results to ignore. Where there is a disagreement, the constituency form must win unless and until an election court orders otherwise.
The Court was too restrained on ballot reconciliation. The petitioners argued that before results are transmitted, IEBC should clearly account for every ballot paper. How many were issued, used, rejected, spoilt, unused or missing. The Court treated this as an administrative matter for IEBC and Parliament. That is understandable because courts should not run elections. But ballot reconciliation is not a small administrative detail. It is the audit trail of the vote. If nobody can explain where the ballots went, then nobody can confidently say the final figures are accurate. A transparent ballot-reconciliation framework would not interfere with IEBC’s independence but protect IEBC from suspicion and protect wananchi from fraud. It should be compulsory, public and available to agents before results leave the polling station.
The real test of this judgment will be whether the safeguards work on election night, under pressure, when the country is tense and every number matters. Kenyans do not need to be told to trust the process. They need a process that earns trust, one where every form is visible, every number can be checked, every discrepancy is explained, every commissioner sees the same evidence, every agent has access and no official can alter the will of the people in darkness. That is how the 2027 election can be lawful not only in court but also in the eyes of the mwananchi.
LET ME PRAY FOR YOU THIS MORNING BEFORE YOU LEAVE YOUR HOME. 🙏🏽
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I commit everyone reading this prayer into Your hands this morning.
As they leave their homes, go before them and make every crooked path straight (Isaiah 45:2).
Lord, preserve their going out and their coming in, from this time forth, and even forevermore (Psalm 121:8).
Order their steps according to Your Word (Psalm 119:133). Lead them away from danger, evil and every snare of the enemy. Be their refuge and fortress throughout this day (Psalm 91:2).
Let Your presence go with them. When they pass through the waters, be with them; and when they walk through the fire, let them not be burned (Isaiah 43:2).
I declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that Your angels will watch over them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11).
Give them wisdom in every decision, grace in every assignment, favour before the right people, and strength for everything this day will require.
Let them return home safely with a testimony of Your goodness.
“The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.” — Psalm 121:8
In Jesus’ mighty name, AMEN. 🙏🏽
Go out in peace. Go out under the covering of God. May the Lord go before you today.
St. Padre Pio’s favored prayer of petition... ⤵️
🙏 Padre Pio’s feast day is September 23.
When someone asks us to pray for a special intention, most of us turn to a prayer we already know. Some people pray the Rosary. Others say an Our Father or simply speak to God from the heart. St. Pio of Pietrelcina, known to many as Padre Pio, also had a prayer he often used when praying for others.
Each day, Padre Pio received many requests for prayers, both from people who came to see him and from letters sent from all over the world. He took these requests seriously and brought them to God with great faith. Over time, many people shared stories of powerful graces and answered prayers they believed came through his intercession.
The prayer Padre Pio often prayed was not written by him. It is usually attributed to St. Margaret Mary Alacoque, a French nun from the 1600s who received visions of Jesus and helped spread devotion to the Sacred Heart.
This prayer is commonly called the Efficacious Novena to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Many people love this novena because it places their needs directly into the Sacred Heart of Jesus, trusting in His mercy, love, and compassion. At the same time, it reflects true Catholic prayer by surrendering every request to God’s will, knowing that God always answers in the way that is best for our souls.
Padre Pio understood that prayer must be offered with real faith and humility. God is not someone who simply grants wishes. He is a loving Father who gives His children what they truly need, even when it is not what they expect.
Below is the traditional prayer used in this novena, prayed with trust in the Sacred Heart of Jesus and confidence in His mercy:
I.
O my Jesus, You have said:
“Truly I say to you, ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.”
Behold, I knock, I seek, and I ask for the grace of
(here mention your request)
Our Father…
Hail Mary…
Glory be to the Father…
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.
II.
O my Jesus, You have said:
“Truly I say to you, if you ask anything of the Father in My name, He will give it to you.”
Behold, in Your name, I ask the Father for the grace of
(here mention your request)
Our Father…
Hail Mary…
Glory be to the Father…
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.
III.
O my Jesus, You have said:
“Truly I say to you, heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will not pass away.”
Encouraged by Your infallible words, I now ask for the grace of
(here mention your request)
Our Father…
Hail Mary…
Glory be to the Father…
Sacred Heart of Jesus, I place all my trust in You.
O Sacred Heart of Jesus, for whom it is impossible not to have compassion on the afflicted,
have pity on us miserable sinners and grant us the grace which we ask of You,
through the Sorrowful and Immaculate Heart of Mary, Your tender Mother and ours.
Amen.
Hail, Holy Queen…
St. Joseph, foster father of Jesus, pray for us.

Now go out knowing that God is with you.
Sometimes we ask God questions, and we expect Him to explain everything.
But then we come to Job 40, and God asks Job a question that changes everything:
“Will the one who contends with the Almighty correct him?” — Job 40:2
Job had suffered. Job had questions. Job wanted answers.
But when God began speaking, He did not give Job a detailed explanation of everything that had happened.
Instead, God revealed who He is.
There are seasons when God may not explain the situation, but He will reveal Himself in the middle of it.
You may not understand why the door closed.
You may not understand why the opportunity disappeared.
You may not understand why you have waited so long.
You may not understand why you prayed and nothing seemed to change.
But your lack of understanding does not mean God has lost control.
Job 40 reminds us that there is a difference between trusting God and understanding God.
You don't have to understand everything to trust Him.
You don't have to know the whole plan to obey Him.
You don't have to see the next chapter to believe that God is still writing your story.
Job said:
“I am unworthy—how can I reply to you? I put my hand over my mouth.” — Job 40:4
Sometimes the greatest response to God is not another question.
Sometimes it is surrender.
“Lord, I don't understand, but I trust You.”
May God give you grace to trust Him even when you don't have answers.
And may you never mistake silence for absence.
God is still God.
Be still. Be humble. Trust Him.
AND GOD REMEMBERED.
There is something about that sentence in the Bible that has always moved me.
And God remembered Noah.
And the waters began to recede.
And God remembered Rachel.
And He opened her womb.
And God remembered Hannah.
And she conceived and gave birth to Samuel.
And God remembered Israel.
And He remembered His covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and began the process of bringing them out of Egypt.
And then I think about us.
God knows you by name.
He knows when you were born and He knows the day your earthly journey will end.
He knows the desires you have never told anyone about.
He knows when you pray.
He knows when you are suffering.
He knows when you are drowning.
He knows the battles you fight quietly.
He knows what you need.
He knows everything.
But sometimes I think knowing is not the same as remembering.
Because there is a difference between knowing someone exists and suddenly having them cross your mind.
You can be sitting on your couch, doing absolutely nothing, and suddenly remember a friend you haven't spoken to in months.
You pick up your phone.
You call them.
You send them money.
You check on them.
You bless them.
Nothing changed about the friend.
You simply remembered them.
And I love that the Bible repeatedly tells us that God remembered people.
Not because He had forgotten that they existed.
God does not forget His people.
It is a beautiful way of telling us that the time came for God to turn His attention to their situation and act.
Noah was still in the ark.
Rachel was still waiting.
Hannah was still praying.
Israel was still suffering.
And then...
God remembered.
So today, that is my prayer for someone.
May God remember you.
May He remember the prayer you have prayed until you are tired of praying it.
May He remember the desire you have carried quietly in your heart.
May He remember the tears nobody saw.
May He remember the place where you have been drowning.
May He remember your children.
May He remember your home.
May He remember your work.
May He remember your finances.
May He remember the door you have been knocking on.
May He remember you in a way that makes you look back one day and say,
“Surely, God remembered me.”
And perhaps you don't have to move a finger today.
Perhaps you don't have to force anything.
Perhaps you don't have to chase it.
Perhaps, somewhere in the mysterious workings of God, your name is about to cross His mind.
And when God remembers...
things begin to move.
Today,
I hope God remembers you.
WHY THE “SHA IS WORKING” NOISES FROM GOK MEAN TOO LITTLE …
🌻33 million Kenyans registered with SHA. Only 4 million pay monthly. 29 million are registered but inactive — signed up, contributing nothing. So when officials boast "33 million registered," ask: registered for what?
🌻 Then look at where the 2.75% deduction actually goes before it reaches a hospital. Three deductions strip it down: the 90/10 vendor share on equipment (private firms operating CT scanners and dialysis machines take up to 90% of revenue, hospitals keep just 10%)
🌻 KEMSA's Sh1–44 million monthly drug deduction regardless of what facilities actually need, and a further 2% to the Digital Health Agency.
🌻 On dialysis alone, of Sh10,650 @_shakenya pays, vendors pocket Sh8,660 (81.3%) and the hospital gets Sh1,990 (18.7%). On average across services, hospitals retain just 22.3% while vendors take 77.7%.
🌻 Registration is not insurance. Insurance is regular contribution — and with only 4 million of 33 million actually paying, this isn't a functioning risk pool, it's a slow-motion funding crisis.
🌻 Without renegotiating those vendor shares, reforming KEMSA, and converting registered numbers into active payers, SHA has one destination: an exchequer bailout or public debt in its name — a live that strips it of the very sustainability it was built to deliver.
I have no idea who this lady speaking at Jacaranda, Nairobi is. I wish the real ODM spokesperson (forget the poor lady in Busia who can’t read English) Hon GPK @gpdkaluma) can exercise the right of reply to her …
VINDICATED. The mystery Dubai photo I flagged, on January 9, has now become official Kenyan policy.
🔴 Back when I broke this, State House stayed silent on what Ruto was doing in Dubai with F1 mogul Flavio Briatore and healthcare tycoon Kamel Ghribi — while the official diary had him "in Kenya." No explanation. No transparency.
🔴 Fast forward: Ruto has now signed a formal agreement with Ghribi's GKSD Group at State House Nairobi — 15 hospitals across 15 counties, 13 Level 5 county referral hospitals + 2 Level 6 national teaching/referral hospitals, under Italy's Mattei Plan for Africa. DP Kindiki and Health CS Aden Duale flanked him at the signing.
🔴 In between, Ghribi led a high-level #GKSD delegation back to State House, where they signed a cooperation protocol on sustainable development — with healthcare innovation explicitly on the agenda.
🔴 Briatore's role, for the record: convener and connector, not a healthcare player himself — a longtime Kenya-linked hospitality billionaire (Billionaire Resort, Malindi) who's brokered Italy-Kenya business ties before.
🔴 So the "unofficial" Dubai meeting Kenyans were left to piece together from Instagram? That was the room where a multi-hospital deal affecting our health sector was quietly taking shape — away from Parliament, away from public scrutiny, away from any pre-signing disclosure.
🔴 The deal may be real and needed. The secrecy around how it was born is the story. Transparency in presidential travel and foreign engagements is not optional when the outcome is this consequential. #AccountabilityMatters
