🙏 PRAY FOR COLOMBIA
Yesterday, a devastating 7.4-magnitude earthquake- the strongest Colombia has seen in years- struck the Chocó region, with the epicenter near San José del Palmar. The ground shook for hundreds of miles. Across the nation, the death toll is rising and thousands of families displaced as hospitals, schools, and homes have crumbled.
People are still trapped. Rescue teams are still searching. A state of national disaster has been declared.
Our hearts break for the people of Colombia.
Psalm 46:1 says "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." We are standing on that Word right now for every family, in every city and every home that has been shaken.
Father, we cry out for Colombia. Send Your comfort to every mother who is grieving. Send Your strength to every rescue worker in the rubble. Send Your provision to every family who has lost everything. Be the God who shows up when the ground gives way. In Jesus' name.
Pray for the people there and share this post, someone in your network may have family there.

Please join us in praying for all those affected by the devastating flooding in the Texas Hill Country. Crisis-trained #BGRRTchaplains have deployed to Central Texas to provide emotional and spiritual care to those processing the destruction and grieving the loss of loved ones.
The little body of Clay, just 20 months old, has been found; he is sadly confirmed deceased.
Clay’s family was visiting the Guadalupe River for July 4th when the flooding happened. The family was able to get to safety; sadly, Clay was swept away.
Clay was a joyful, curious, and loving little boy who brought light to everyone around him. Though his time on earth was heartbreakingly short, his impact was profound, the family says.
If you haven’t read this, pick your time wisely. I was crying so hard by the end I could barely see to finish it. But it’s an important read.
