Last week, our DR Academy had the opportunity to participate in #HOPEweek.
On July 3rd, players from the DR Academy visited the Robert Reid Children's Hospital. Every Monday, players go to the children's cancer wing, where they bring snacks & games and help with schoolwork.
On July 6, they worked with FACCI, which helps cancer patients from Robert Reid Children's Hospital. FACCI provides medicine, beds, & food for the kids. The kids came to the complex & played with the players.
Albert Abreu & Wandy Peralta donated 175 bed sheets for the hospital.
On July 7, the DR Academy welcomed 79 children from the Quezada Baseball League to see what a day looks like for the players & to have lunch with them.
