Don’t worry nearly as much about the Players and Teams you see all over social media doing their workouts or appearances.

Worry about the Players and Teams you ARE NOT seeing.

They are the ones that are getting ready to SNATCH all of your “performative “ work right from you.

Comparison is one of the biggest traps in recruiting.

You see another athlete getting offers, visits, follows, camp invites, or attention from schools and start wondering what you’re doing wrong.

But recruiting isn’t a race.

Different coaches. Different needs. Different schools. Different timelines.

The athlete who commits first doesn’t automatically end up at the best fit. The athlete who commits last isn’t automatically behind.

“The only person you should try to be better than is the person you were yesterday.”

And remember:

“Comparison is the thief of joy.”

Focus less on what everyone else is doing and more on becoming the best player, teammate, student, and person God created you to be.

Run your race. Stay faithful. Trust His timing.
