@openshipio Hi, it looks amazing! I was wondering what the Starter plan credits translate to in practice. Roughly how much usage or runtime should we expect from them? The numbers don’t need to be exact—just a ballpark estimate would be really helpful.
This desktop app turns any photo into a 3D model, running entirely on your own GPU.
It's called Modly.
Local, open source AI-powered image-to-3D mesh generation, no cloud processing, no subscription.

No levantó inversión. Solo resolvió un problema que molestaba a millones de personas.
A veces el cambio real lo hace una sola persona que se cansa de las cosas como están.

⚡ We just added deep Livewire support to Flare (@calebporzio).
If a Livewire page is slow or breaks, you can now see which components ran, where time went, and what happened inside each step.
Every Laravel app eventually needs CSV imports.
And every time it's the same grind — mapping columns, validating rows, handling relationships, dealing with 50K row files that timeout.
I built Tapix to kill that loop:
• Auto column mapping
• Users fix their own errors inline
• BelongsTo + MorphToMany handled
• Queued batches — 100K rows, no sweat
What's the worst CSV import you've had to build?
Laravel 13 dropped on March 17, 2026 — and it might be the smoothest major release the framework has ever shipped. 🚀
Taylor Otwell promised zero breaking changes and a 10-minute upgrade at Laracon EU 2026. He delivered.
Here's what's new in Laravel 13:
🧩 Native PHP Attributes — no more walls of $fillable, $hidden, $table on every model. Declare everything at the top with clean #[Attribute] syntax
🤖 Laravel AI SDK (now stable) — first-party, provider-agnostic interface for text generation, image creation, audio synthesis, embeddings, and vector search. Built into the framework, not bolted on.
⚡ Reverb Database Driver — real-time WebSockets without Redis. One less infrastructure dependency for smaller teams.
🔑 Passkey Authentication — native passwordless login via WebAuthn. Passwords are optional now.
📡 JSON:API Resources — first-party spec-compliant API responses, relationships, sparse fieldsets, and headers — all handled automatically.
🔒 PreventRequestForgery — origin-aware CSRF on top of the existing token system. Defense in depth.
🚦 Queue::route() — centralize all your queue routing in a service provider. Clean job classes, zero dispatch-site config.
💾 Cache::touch() — extend a cache TTL without re-fetching the value.
Minimum requirement: PHP 8.3. Livewire, Inertia.js, Filament, and Spatie packages are all already compatible.
I broke down every feature with before/after code examples in post — link here.

I upgraded a real Laravel 12 production app to Laravel 13. Here's what actually happened.
The app: 45,000 lines of PHP, Pest test suite, Livewire v4, Inertia.js v2, Spatie packages.
Total upgrade time: 23 minutes.
Tests after: 312 passing, zero failures.
The 6-step process:
1. php -v — PHP 8.3+ is the only hard blocker
2. composer why-not laravel/framework:^13.0 — know your blockers first
3. Update composer.json: "laravel/framework": "^13.0"
4. composer update
5. artisan config:clear + route:clear + view:clear + cache:clear
6. php artisan test
Most of that is genuinely 10 minutes. The extra 13 minutes was the config audit. And this is why that matters.
THREE QUIET DEFAULTS THAT CHANGED:
1. Cache prefix defaults changed
If you've never set CACHE_PREFIX or SESSION_COOKIE explicitly, those values silently change after the upgrade. Underscore-style → hyphen-style.
This means: cache misses in production, sessions invalidated, rate limiters reset — all on deploy, not during testing.
Fix: Before upgrading, run php artisan tinker on your Laravel 12 app and check config('cache.prefix'). Then pin it explicitly in .env:
CACHE_PREFIX=my_app_cache_ # your current value
2. serializable_classes defaults to false
New option in config/cache.php. Security change against deserialization attacks. If you cache PHP objects (Eloquent models, DTOs), they'll throw on read.
Fix: grep -rn 'Cache::put\|Cache::remember' app/ and check what you're storing. Add any object classes:
'serializable_classes' => [App\Data\CachedStats::class]
3. Pagination view names renamed
pagination::default → pagination::bootstrap-3
Only matters if you hardcode the view name. Most apps: grep returns zero hits.
Fix: grep -rn 'pagination::' app/ resources/
The "zero breaking changes" claim is accurate for application logic. Routes, controllers, Eloquent models, business code — untouched. The gotchas are all in config defaults and infrastructure defaults.
Also: there's now a Boost slash command — /upgrade-laravel-v13 in Claude Code, Cursor, or OpenCode. If you have Boost 2.0 installed, it reads your actual codebase and tells you exactly what needs changing.
Full diary with every step, all grep commands, and the three edge cases (Container::call nullable change, custom contract additions, queue serialization format) — linked here.
