I’ve said it time and time again, if CT3 would’ve been given the chance this season to play regularly like Conforto, he would’ve gotten in a rhythm and produced far better than Conforto.
The Dodgers relased Chris Taylor after hitting .200/.286/.305 with a 67 OPS+ over the last 2 seasons
They released Austin Barnes after he hit .214 in 24 at-bats this season.
They dumped Jason Heyward after he hit .208 with a .682 OPS despite re-signing him for $9MM
Yet they still employ Conforto, who is statistically worse than everyone I just mentioned (.187/.299/.327, 81 wRC+) and continue to play him every day.
Dodgers are 11-11 since starting to remove the two players who everyone said was holding them back and were to blame.
They're 9-9 from the point both veterans were no longer with the team.
It's almost like end-of-the-bench guys don't make the difference everyone claimed.

🚨🚨WARNING: GRAPHIC🚨🚨
A FAN AT THE PITTSBURGH PIRATES GAME FELL OFF THE 21-FOOT CLEMENTE WALL.
Looked brutal. Have never seen anything like this at a professional sports game.
Thoughts and prayers.
