I have been thinking a lot about Classic cards on @Sorare - and taking on board the replies to some of my posts and videos over the last few days, and think there is a simple solution that is good for Sorare, good for the people who have a lot of classic cards, good for the classic market and good for the way it seems people want to have utility for classic.

Streaks. Classic streaks, league specific but also having All-Star. Any time entry, as per Sorare 27 standard rules.

The difference however, is the rewards. We know Sorare can't very well give out cash and cards for classics to a high degree because theres too many classics out there and they're ever growing. So what would I propose for rewards?

Well, for the low tiers, (stage 1-3 perhaps) - Gems. This is not only an unlimited resource for Sorare that costs "nothing" to make, but it has value for people completing Set collections - and makes it easier for users to climb the Set boards that are on offer and could be turned into real cash - it's a strong loop for people to engage in Sorare with at a classic level that would also open up the opportunity to earn in-season cards and through skill, time and collections would make having classics worth while.

For stage 4, I would propose something like an Arena tokens. I'm talking the Arena from Sorare 26, where you would spend 100, 200, 300 essence to enter, with a chance to win essensce - but of course one conundrum for classic users it that it's hard to earn the essence in the first place to be able to enter into those comps to take advantage of Classic cards. This would be another unlimited resource for Sorare that costs them nothing.

For the 5th stage, essence. Just enough for 1 card craft from that spefic league - again rewarding people with in-season cards for using classic cards and having the skill to hit the targets

For the 6th stage, cash (or perhaps 100% off market credits) - if I'm really good enough and can win Cash / Credits to engage in in-season comps using a deep classic gallery I'd be happy.

I feel like this ticks a LOT of the complaint boxes for classic. Gives value to cards over time, gives value to collecting full sets for % bonuses in streaks, gives value to getting the cards XP boosted, gives multiple opportunities via Gems, Arena tokens and Essence to play your way into in-season - and gives a small chance of winning cash without it costing Sorare and arm and a leg.

If we also then gave the ability for cards to have a bonus if played down a tier akin to Shiney / Holo in Set - without it being as large - it would give even more value to SR/U if say each SR card for a 5% bonus score in Rare/Lim and U got an 8% bonus score in Rare/Lim - and could also add Rare cards getting a 3% score bonus in Lim.

What you do think, like - dislike on my thoughts?
