Jesus the Jewish Messiah
Jesus was circumcised as a Jew and bore the sign of the relationship between God and Israel on His body. It could be said of Him that He did not cling to His equality with God, but took on the form of a servant ( Phil. 2 ). Jesus ate kosher and could pray that the Father would give Him the glory that He had before the creation of the earth ( John 17:5 ). He could say that whatever He spoke, He had learned and seen with the Father ( John 8:38 ). He went to the synagogue and could speak about the house of the Father, because He was sent from there. He could tell His disciples that they should not grieve that He was going to the Father, because the Father was greater than He ( John 14:28 ).
He could say that whoever had seen Him had seen the Father. But He was also the child of Mary and the half-brother of Joseph and Jacob, Simeon and Judah. โโJesus was God from God and Jew from Jew. He was never ashamed of that, He never denied it โ salvation is from the Jews ( John 4:22 ). He never renounced that either. He did not withdraw from His Jewishness in His ascension either. At the right hand of God is the Son, the firstborn Son of God, but also the Son of Israel, with the signs of suffering in His hands and feet and with His circumcision. That has not been undone either.
Even in heaven He is still called the Lion of the tribe of Judah ( Rev. 5:5 ). He is as the Son the root of the lineage of David, and He is as the son of Mary of the lineage of David. The relationship between Jesus and Israel is therefore enclosed in the being of Jesus. Israel may not have Jesus, but He does have Israel. He is still Immanuel.
FAITH
Walk with Matthew Henry
"Here we have a twofold definition of faith. First, it 'is being sure of what we hope for.'
"Faith and hope go together. Faith is a
firm persuasion and expectation that God will perform all that He has promised to us in Christ. And this persuasion is so strong that it gives the soul a kind of possession and present fruition of those things, gives them a subsistence in the soul by the firstfruits and foretastes of them, so that believers in the exercise of faith are filled with joy unspeakable and full of glory.
What we know:
1. She's a member of the French left-wing party and an activist, one of the biggest advocates for opening up migration to North African peoples.
2. She owns a small chic boutique in an upscale spot, she stood in her shop trying to save it from looting and theft telling them that she's a famous activist.
3. She told them I'm so-and-so, the activist for asylum, I'm with you, I've defended you and your entry and stay in France, they spat on her, knocked her down, and trampled her with their feet, good thing she's still alive.
4. And they looted the whole shop, losing all the struggle and work of her lifetime in a moment. Standing there stunned, not believing that these thieving, rabble-rousing, criminal, barbaric hordes are the ones she's spent her whole life defending, and advocating for them to invade her country and destroy it

Israeli politician Fleur Hassan-Nahoum's, @FleurHassanN, vehicle was attacked by Palestinian stone-throwers during an informational tour near Turmus Ayya, north of Ramallah in Judea and Samaria.
Hassan-Nahoum, the former deputy mayor of Jerusalem and No. 5 candidate on Ofer Winterโs Amcha Yisrael party list, was traveling through the area when the stones struck.
Palestinian violence against Jews in Judea and Samaria is a multiple of what Jews do to Arabs. But it is not reported, so please share.
