I donโt want to hear no trash from these players except โIโm sorryโ.
This performance was pathetic. Everyone was against us tonight and we came out scared. Clint Dempsey would have never played scared.
I get hyped every USMNT game and forget we are just not good. Tactically we arenโt good. Mentally we arenโt good.
First time we faced adversity and we crumbled.
And it should be rightfully removed because everyone can see Olise didn't make contact and I'm saying this as someone who loves Paraguay and not a fan of France at all.
The appeals just keep coming:
France have appealed to FIFA to request Michael Oliseโs yellow card against Paraguay is rescinded.
Increasingly feels like FIFA have lost control of their World Cup here.

Taking the whole Trump called FIFA narrative out of the equation for a second - if there is provision for FIFA in their rulebook to suspend the penalty of a red card via Art. 27 or whatever then why is this such a bad thing? Is it b/c we are the USA?
โCristiano Ronaldo received the same treatment before the tournament, allowing him to feature in Portugal's opening World Cup matches.โ
Everyoneโs mad about the Balogun decision but I havenโt seen a single thing said about Ronaldo getting the same treatment.
๐จ FIFA have handed Folarin Balogun a suspended one-match ban, making him available for the USA's World Cup clash with Belgium. ๐บ๐ธ
US Soccer did not appeal the decision after being informed there were no grounds to do so, but FIFA have instead exercised their powers under Article 27. The red card remains on Balogun's record, but the suspension has been deferred.

CONCACAF & CONMEBOL are just different than Europe. More physical, more psychological, etc. The whining is a bit much. England should still stomp Mexico 6-0 though (hopefully).
@BenOnSports I hope England hands El Tri a big time defeat in Mexico. This ainโt no Sun Belt so I got no loyalty for some of my fellow Concacaf members. Cheering for a Harry Kane first half hat trick!
