@AirbnbHelp tweeting on behalf my gf who has a booking with you which you have now over 7 days since asking for help still yet to respond to. Any chance you can advise how to have a refund processed for a cancellation forced to be made due to the tier 4 announcements made?

@RyanLaker @AdamBroude @Airbnb_uk clearly there is a lot of confusion about how to get money back given the fact so many cannot travel due to the unexpected last minute tier 4 announcement, as highlighted by the conversion above. Would you care to actually provide some clarity please?

@AdamBroude @RyanLaker Our host said that he doesn’t receive the money if cancelled ahead of stay and that airbnb have the money. Is this a case of him trying to lead us down the wrong path or do airbnb need to supply the refund? We have logged a request with PayPal to try to withhold funds if we can..

@AdamBroude @RyanLaker @AdamBroude did you have a resolution on this provided by Airbnb in the end? My gf is in a similar position where host has said to contact airbnb and won’t refund
