Grok Bot challenge day #3!
After finding out that Bot has the ability to make phone calls I wanted to put it to the test. Maybe I should have worked with a test call first, but I threw it to the woods day one!
Prompt: Call my local Les Schwab tire center and get a quote for an oil change on my car (car details redacted). Harlo asked for permission to make calls and if I wanted to leave a callback number. The call was about 5 minutes long and went over pretty well. Got the quote I needed, didn’t book an appointment nor ask anything I didn’t want to.
I’m excited to see how else I can put that to use and save time!
Day 2 of my Grok Bot learning challenge comes courtesy of @alx I tested out tagging my bot by using @bot in my reply to the post and giving Harlo a prompt right from my X post.
I used the bot that Alex provided and had it get to work on registering my info on the national do not call registry and scrub the Internet for all of my personal information. I won’t share screenshots here (since it has sensitive info!) but I will say the Bot did an amazing job.
I got to see the bot’s virtual computer screen when it needed my input to get past a captcha. And since it already had access to my Gmail, it was able to click on all of the confirmation emails that required it. Then it setup a routine to perform monthly checks of all the public data sites and ensure my info remains private!
Just published a Grok @Bot to remove my number from spam call lists and one to remove my personal info from public sites

Took seconds to set up.
Day One challenge of learning Grok Bot was connecting Harlo to my Gmail to see what it can do. One thing I’ve always wanted for my Gmail is to organize it into folders and Gmail labels, but with 10k+ emails it seemed impossible to me. I asked Harlo if it could take this on, and it had no problem. Within about 10 minutes and me answering some questions about folders, it was done and my inbox was at ZERO for the first time ever!
After the sorting was done it recommended scheduling a Bot routine so Grok Bot can keep up on filtering my emails and keeping my inbox clear!
I think this Grok Bot stuff is going to be a lot of fun!

I am starting a new mission here on X by documenting my experience with Grok Bot! 🤖 I am starting with a Premium subscription through X and exploring day by day what my Bot can do at this level.
I went with a default Bot name, Harlo, but am considering changing it if another name comes up!
Day 1 challenge is coming up in my next post!
