Furthermore, a modem is not the only defining feature of the phone. It is a 2 year old phone with an old SoC. You'd be far better off buying a refurb Galaxy S24 for I believe around the same price with a significantly better SoC, 7 years of updates, significantly better cameras and subjectively better software

MediaTek is only found in mainly higher end phones now, ultra low end uses Unisoc primarily.

Exynos is Samsung only except that one Motorola phone. The largest companies in the US, Apple and Samsung, primarily use Qualcomm except for their very new phones which are using in house modems
