@andrewmichta Poland is leaving a lot on the table. They run little to no civil diplomacy program. There are a number of people standing at the ready to assist. Hungary has consistently run circles around Poland on this front and it is time to change it is time for Poland to lead.

@actfast There is nothing to prevent Europe from moving troops both formal and informal into the Baltics and Poland. There has been nothing preventing Europe from placing troops formal and informal in Ukraine. If they had, Europe would now have the operational capacity currently lacking.
🧵After some 3 months in Europe, I'm beginning to prepare to go back home. A few thoughts as I reflect on my experience here this summer. First, American democracy is different from what exists in the #EU today, and that shouldn't surprise anyone, but should make us think. 1/10
Visited the Polish Sejm with Chairman @RKomarewicz and members of the Polish-Taiwanese Parliamentary Group. Taiwan and Poland have both endured authoritarian rule and emerged as vibrant democracies. This shared journey deepens our partnership.
The 2026 #TaiwanExpoInEurope has opened in #Warsaw! Presiding over the opening ceremony, Min. @chia_lung stated that #Taiwan🇹🇼 stands ready to act as Europe's indispensable partner in building non-red supply chains, while Taiwan Night showcased our vibrant cultural heritage.
At the Casimir Pulaski Foundation, I witnessed the Taiwan Project cooperation agreement between the Taipei Representative Office in Poland and the Foundation. A new step for Taiwan-Poland think tank ties, strategic dialogue, and defending democracy.

Polish Cadet Bartosz Szumowski, a second-year cryptology and cybersecurity student at the Faculty of Cybernetics at the Military University of Technology in Warsaw (Poland), has been accepted into the elite U.S. Military Academy at West Point, the oldest military academy in the United States.
This is an extraordinary achievement as West Point limits its international intake to only about 15 foreign candidates per class.
It is also symbolic, because Polish General Tadeusz Kościuszko was appointed by the Continental Congress to oversee the fortifications of West Point from 1777-1780 during the height of the Revolutionary War, when George Washington considered West Point to be the most important military post in America.

Haven’t seen a conversation like this—intellectual, philosophical, big picture—on tv in decades. It’s incredible.
Commissioner Mark Glass delivered a keynote address at the AGS Frontiers Forum last Friday in Tampa, discussing domestic security and cybersecurity challenges local governments are facing and how to get ahead of it.
A safer future depends on working together—local to federal—to stop bad actors at the source and safeguard our communities.
I’m honored to speak at the AGS Frontiers Forum convened by the Alliance for Global Security in Tampa, Florida. @ufhamilton @AtlanticCouncil @HooverInst
Big thanks to the City of Tampa and Hillsborough County for stepping up to support the AGS Frontiers Forum.
As the chairman of this event I cannot thank you enough!
When local leaders invest in security and preparedness, it strengthens Florida and Tampa is leading from the front!

A Stanford student testified that she was targeted by a Chinese spy — and the FBI confirmed to her that she and her family were being surveilled by China.
Elsa Johnson said a man who called himself Charles Chen reached out to her on Instagram during her Freshman year. The FBI later told her he had no affiliation with Stanford and was likely working on behalf of China’s ministry of state security. And she was not the only student targeted.
