@TheVandenHeuvel I spent enough time in western Fairfax/eastern Loudoun in the mid-'00s to see that the Southern is there if you dig deep enough (e.g. church histories), but it's largely paved over. Prince William it gets a little grayer but PW/Loudoun as the perimeter for that makes sense IMO.

@ItsBrewsday @edsbs everyone else is slowing way way down to maintain control around the turns, because the turns are super tight there. He's gassing it and using the wall instead to keep himself on the track, which isn't as much of a slowdown but comes at the expense of the right side of his car.

One asset I do have, though, is that in my misspent youth in Circuit City Open Systems we practiced something close to what we’d now call full-service ownership _way_ before it was cool. (Of course, by the time it was cool, Circuit City had offed itself.)

As a devops guy who came from the dev side of the wall instead, I’m not sure he’s wrong. I continually feel like I’m playing catch-up on what we used to call sysadmin stuff and other people would call operations, or maybe some places it was “app support”.
