@ntrider825 Feel like that is a bit harsh on Power but I also get it. Need more consistently. The highs have been good though. We see what the ceiling is and man, if he can deliver that 9 out of 10 games…
@ntrider825 Main reason - The loss of breakaway speed/speed burst due to his knee.
Second reason - Loss of confidence due to working in a toxic work environment.
I still like Petey as a solid 2 way 2nd line center but not at 11.6 million. The 100 point player is gone forever.
@ntrider825 Market out here has a very selective understanding of the Buffalo rebuild experience. We are becoming this beacon of hope when this team has accomplished nothing at all as of yet.
HexClad’s #1 most powerful tool: spend, revenue, and media mix forecasting.
One single spreadsheet has saved us MILLIONS by preventing inefficient spend, poor pacing, and reactive decision-making…
I just built a template that automatically integrates into any brand with just 3 clicks.
I was offered $1k for the spreadsheet last week- but I’m giving it away FOR FREE (shame on me)
- top line spend, revenue, and media
mix forecasting
- media mix recommendations based on variable growth scenarios
- pre-built visual views for csuite and leadership
- daily granularity (with custom period selector)
- PoP/YoY comparisons (+ pre-built day-matching)
- daily allocation %’s to help inform forecast recommendations
& so much more…
The best part? It can be fully integrated within your brand in 5 minutes.
Your buyers need a plan. Your execs need clarity. Your brand needs proactivity.
Your growth will only ever be as good as the PLAN you set in place.

@SadClubCommish Now culturally these two teams are in the same place. One owner refused to rebuild, the other refuses to spend money. Both want to be heavily involved running hockey operations…in the case of Buffalo to the point Terry will refuse to let his most loyal employee Adams go.
@SadClubCommish As a Sabres fan I’d argue the rebuild worked in the sense it landed us star players. We just failed to build around them (cheap owner) and didn’t identify and remove poor performers until it was too late and the stars asked out.
@seanhackbarth@RoarReport I’m with you. This group feels like it is regressing. Pierce isn’t correcting any of the fundamental issues plaguing this team.
@RoarReport I am not sure how you can bring this coaching staff back next year. Yes, they have personnel issues, but the consistent mistakes and decision making is nowhere near good enough.
@vanleygoodtakes @buckfoston Miller is not waiving to go to Buffalo though. I don’t think the Sabres would give up anything of value for him either given his age and contract. For the Sabres it’s Petey or bust. I don’t think Vancouver should move him.
@johnnybarlow90 @Hanwarrior@nucks0@Shae_Nuge93 As a Sabres fan I hear you and agree. I just don’t think Vancouver is going to get good value for Petey if they move him. Especially right now.
