Our team are busy getting our G-BLDV aircraft ready to carry some very important cargo. 🗳️

Tonight, our team will help transport the most northernly ballot boxes in the United Kingdom. A journey consisting of two ferries, two cars and a plane will take the boxes from the Isle of Unst to Orkney to be counted.

That is a journey of 180 MILES. 🛫

Today, our SAAB 340 took its last journey from KOI - GLA with a stop in INV, which marks the final flight as a part of our operations.

A stronghold in our fleet, November Alpha made its final departure crewed by Loganair's Captain Eddie Watt, Captain Lionel McClean and Cabin Crew Nichola Charlish.

It is also Robert Burns Day – Scotland's own Bard. As Scotland's Airline, our team could not have picked a better day to bid farewell to our SAABs.

Thus, it only feels fitting to say; Ae fareweel, alas, forever! ✈️🫶🏴󠁧
