This morning, a significant meeting took place in London between representatives of Carlos Baleba and Manchester United officials 💣
Sources indicate @ManUtd is preparing a new bid significantly lower than previous offers last and this summer.
Baleba is ready to push for the move, signalling his desire to join the Premier League giants. This could be a game-changer for both as they seek a mutually beneficial deal.
🚨 JUST IN:
Manchester United have initiated initial DISCUSSIONS for Manu Koné. He is one of United’s PRIORITY objectives on their midfield shortlist. Koné would look FAVOURABLY on a possible transfer to United. #MUFC [@Tanziloic]
🚨 Man Utd have agreed a deal to sign new backup goalkeeper, Karl Darlow
He will sign on Friday, with Bayindir expected to leave. [@FabrizioRomano] #mufc
Manchester United fans, this World Cup is lowkey distracting us
Premier League is starting in one month btw, no midfielder, no serious signing. And we aren’t saying anything
Okay😂
@teamsixsmith@terryflewers Im glad you are comparing to these players now, because that just makes you look stupid for suggesting that Andrey Santos would be a good signing. Your idiocracy has come back to bite you my friend.
@teamsixsmith@terryflewers That is silly logic to use. You don’t win or lose a PL or CL due to individual players.
Would you use the same logic and say that Bruno Fernandes was a poor signing? He hasnt won us a PL or CL either.
@teamsixsmith@terryflewers Players are “big signings” because they are top quality players. Its quite simple maths.
The only player on your list that flopped is Alexis Sanchez, and yes it can happen. Morgan Schneiderlin flopped too though, it doesnt only happen to big signings.
@teamsixsmith@terryflewers Firstly, that doesnt make any sense as that wouldnt be the same scenario. We didnt pay Newcastle that money, but yes I would be upset if Newcastle bought Tchouameni. I really struggle to understand your lack of ambition. What evidence is there that Santos would be a good signing?
@teamsixsmith@terryflewers If there was a marquee signing on top of those two I would be fine, but lets be realistic. Firstly who is left that would be a true marquee signing, and after already spending 100m on two average players how much more will we have to spend?
@teamsixsmith@terryflewers None of those players were signed as “marquee” signings to go straight into the starting team, which I am sure you are well aware of. Seems you like to argue for the sake of arguing unfortunately..
@teamsixsmith@terryflewers That was a gamble that paid off, it was never seen as an ambitious signing. Even someone as smart as you would never have predicted Anderson doing what he did at Forrest. Dont assume I wanted to sign Fernandes. Ferguson would never sign a Chelsea bench player on principle.
@teamsixsmith@terryflewers After losing Casemiro and the club chatting big about making a marquee signing to replace him, I struggle to believe any United fan would have been happy accepting that signing being Andrey Santos at the start of the window. Pick your ambition up off the floor and demand more.
🚨 There are figures inside Manchester United who believe winning the Premier League title is now a more ACHIEVABLE dream than it has been for a LONG TIME. #MUFC [@TyMarshall_MEN]
Sources say Amorim named Tuchel, Conte, Mourinho on Sunday because they were the names used to him to contrast "pedigree"
A 2024 candidate found 4 levels of interviews, with ever more officials, and a meeting delayed because Ratcliffe was "off cycling"
