@smartereveryday I think actors think it’s an easy accent to do because everyone is familiar with it and have a version they pull out from time to time.

But it’s really clear when it’s off. Like they are doing a stage play or something. Also the idioms are usually ridiculous.

@meaghano Heres worse. I once worked at a church that bought up an adjoining apartment complex so they could tear it down to make more parking. They justified it by quantifying the tithes generated in each parking spot. They did nothing to help the people they evicted.
