@mrmxy Enjoyed your CRACKED article on mindfucks in comedies. One note: In the original Muppet Movie, at the end of the credits, Animal tells the audience to go home. This was 7 years before Ferris Buhler. Jump to 1:18.https://t.co/cD74cSlXBl
@ATM_cashpoint@GrantYeager@allowe My pleasure, as always! It's so gratifying to see people still playing and enjoying these games so long after their release. If we had known that people would still be playing them thirty years on, maybe we would've put some REAL work into them! ;-)
@realKevinTweets I did indeed! This will probably put an end to the hate mail, groveling, and favor-seeking...at least until he runs again for something else.
@Other_Ryn Ooh, I would think so! Laura loves making lemon curd, I will recommend this to her!
I have also read about how to temper chocolate using sous vide, which is less messy and a lot more foolproof. I haven't tried it yet, but I do intend to.
@Other_Ryn Hi, OtherRyn! Glad you're loving sous vide. It really is a game-changer.
Honestly, it's been so long since I worked full-time in the industry that I would probably be outside my depth to advise on this. I was never very well-connected with the music side of things anyway. :-/
@VW@VWgroup@volkswagen My vote for worst commerical(s) of the season go to the new Volkswagen Taos spots, which feature tuneless, mumbled, off-key, vague songs sung by people who probably should not be singing in public. We mute the TV whenever one of these ads comes on.
Robert Holmes is a fantastic game music composer with whom I always wanted to, but never got to, work with. He's Kickstarting a new album of game music. I'm going to back it and I hope you will, too.
