NEW: A WWII soldier whose remains were recovered 81 years after his crew was shot down over Germany was finally laid to rest Tuesday.

Sgt. Sanford Roy’s crew went down over Germany 81 years ago today.
His remains were indentified last year. Today he is being laid to rest at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
This is the documentary the Coolidge National Medal of Honor Heritage Center made to accompany the new Larry Taylor exhibit.
