@Tumnus52@PGATOUR@TPCSawgrass You’d be amazed at what greenskeepers call things that you have a different name for. Weed-wacker/eater = string trimmer, fringe = collar, hole = cup.
@cbunch0713@PGATOUR@TPCSawgrass So they dont have to come back with another machine and blow clippings away. You can bet they fertilize more than enough to not need to leave clippings for nutrients, which I assume is the thought that led to your question
@zekedabolina@GreggBarthelmes@PGATOUR@TPCSawgrass Riding mowers weigh a lot more than push mowers and focus the tonnage on 3 or 4 wheels. This is even more impactful when you are turning the machines and on slopes. Its very easy to spin tires and rip the turf up, this minimizes risk and ensures everything looks perfect for TV
@wayne5095 ...themselves if they feel they are at risk or disagree. But frankly I think this cat is out of the bag and trying to put it back in is futile. If we continue to aim for elimination we just wont get there
Let Texas Texas and just quietly watch. Be open to the possibility that maybe they aren’t wrong. Time will tell all. One state isnt going to ruin the other 49, but at least we will have data this way. We gotta try it eventually. Nothing is worse than waiting longer than you need
@wayne5095 ...it could actually lead to the folks who aren’t swayed to the side of mask necessity realizing they are wrong and a push in favor of masks. Texas can always put them back on, other states can protect themselves with travel restrictions and folks can choose to protect themse...
@wayne5095 ...and if we have been wearing single masks that are only 30% effective for a full year now I’m led to believe that is isn’t quite as contagious as is hyped out to be and the masks arent actually doing all that much. If you are correct...
@wayne5095 Other things to consider: what is the endgame according to the current plan? Is it a vaccination threshold? Surely 100% isnt feasible, if this goal is set too high there is no end. I have to believe that waaaay more than 30m people in the US have been exposed to the virus...
@wayne5095 Certainly thats a cogent argument. Similarly impactful opposing arguments are made citing loss of livelihood, economic impact, and mental health. Currently, we debate this. Soon there is no longer debate, but facts.
I havent seen this on TV yet and we might not. I dont see a mob of people threatening anybody’s life at that moment. What I see is a bullet being used instead of a good shove to keep her out. Objectively, i see the same type of murder that lead to protests this summer.
@wayne5095 Problem is, theres an ancient chinese proverb i made up about the farmer and the thornbush. The farmer gets cut by the thorns daily, so he decides to cut it down. Its good for a bit but then poison ivy becomes a bigger issue there
Hey, just saying, some firecrackers going off from the direction of police and a protester doing a great job popping a ketchup packet on his shirt might be enough to start a revolution (not calling for it, just saying tension is high) #TrumpRally
@wayne5095 Well itd be cool if we had legislators that did more than take lobbyist money and fuck the people. Thats what irks me the most. Everyone knows its an issue but ive never heard ANYBODY left or right discussing how to get rid of it. Id bust into the capital for that
