I've been fortunate to tell the stories of the fallen and those who made it back. Today, as is true every day, we remember the fallen. They gave, gave, gave, and when it hurt they gave again so that we may live. The giving was/is real. Real people. Thank you. #memorialday2018

Training myself to look past the excitement, the anticipation of opportunity has not been easy. To remain calm, light and free means to be open to life around me, present to every little gift and to give myself wholly to the task at hand: be myself. #Acting #actorslife

Actors suffer from the need to prove their value. Our work suffers as a result. We push, we 'play' the part instead of simply being the part.

Your value is in who you are, not what you do.

[Josh Daugherty @joshteaches1]

Have one thought. Go inside. Let the camera do the work.

[Josh Daugherty @joshteaches1]

45 minutes there, 15 minutes in the room, over an hour home. Welcome to #acting in #LosAngeles. And this is a good day!

[Josh Daugherty @joshteaches1]

There is no acting.

[Josh Daugherty @joshteaches1]

The lines are just an expression of the emotion. Without the emotion the lines are just empty words.

[Josh Daugherty @joshteaches1]

Acting is the study and expression of human motivation and interaction.
