@SonRebell Colorstorm has no evasion, only triggers once off of a talent+basics loop, asks you to spend 5 mana at once to do the cool thing. You give up a lot of your equity in your favored matchups by registering Stallion in exchange for nothing basically
@gazmon48@alsosteve@Crew3Podcast Making personal attacks on designers does not create a productive, friendly, or respectable space and reflects badly on the community that houses or creates those attacks
@CalebDOTexe_ Sometimes it is easy! If a deck 100% folds to a card being played then maybe the deck isnt competitively viable (or the pilot didn't play around it). Ime sideboards allow gimmicky all-in decks to exist while still having counterplay, forcing those decks to have backup plans.
@CalebDOTexe_ Also if I bring in 6 cards that hose your deck, I also need to be judicious in not undercutting my own plan, otherwise I stop you then... do nothing. It's extremely hard and one of the most gratifying aspects of the game
@CalebDOTexe_ If you compare sideboarding to say, standard or modern, there are absolutely some cards that nuke strategies, but often the decks that get nuked also get to run their own sideboard cards designed to juke or play through the sideboarded disruption
