@grantpaulsen Meh...combination of a bad season and the horrific traffic conditions surrounding Northwest Stadium. Took me an hour to get from 495 to my parking spot a mile and a half from the interstate. Just a terrible stadium.
If you’ve never been — go.
And churches, consider sending your pastor. Walking where Jesus walked will deepen his preaching and enrich his teaching in ways books never could. We make it a priority to send one of our pastors every year!
This will be our most epic trip yet. Many have already signed up, but there is room for you too! As a tour group owner and lover of the Bible, I will personally be leading this trip and would be honored to introduce you to Israel!
Avoid @StubHub at all costs. They have no problems leaving you without a ticket to the event, and their subsequent customer service is terrible. Over an hour spent on the phone and chat and no resolution.
@Gametime came to the rescue for me yesterday.
Fear is a thief!
God has not given you the spirit of fear
Fear robs you of God's blessings
Fear robs you of seeing God's miraculous workings
Be anxious for nothing...let God's peace guard your heart and mind
God's promises to Paul while ministering in immoral Corinth:
1. Don't be afraid...keep preaching
2. I am with you
3. I will protect you
4. I have many people in this city
He promised His power, presence, protection, and productivity. He does the same for us! Keep preaching!
5/5 We may be biased…but we genuinely believe that we are blessed to serve at one of the best churches and with the some of the best people in the world. We love each of you and look forward to all that God has planned for our church and for continued ministry alongside you.
🧵 1/5: 15 years ago, God brought our family to Fredericksburg to serve at Faith Baptist. We determined that we would serve in ministry here for as long as God would allow. We've been incredibly blessed to serve the Lord and the wonderful people of Faith for these many years.
4/5 Your passion for serving God, dedication to His Word and work, and unwavering commitment to one another and, most importantly, the Lord are a constant encouragement.
