They either intend to let the war continue indefinitely (seems unlikely) or somehow split off from Israeli violence.

Second - yes, the *terms* under which the war is ended are subject to judgment. Quite obviously. No contradiction at all there.

@LividEllen @kenklippenstein What I'm saying is that the Iranian regime - who Trump irresponsibly attacked - has long been stigmatized in the US for actions like the recent mass killing of protestors. Trump himself ran in part decrying money go to them. So "how could this be controversial" is a silly take.

I was opposed to the war from the beginning. I hate how the US military is used around the world. I feel empathy for the innocents killed.
