Penn Medicine presented at the Vizient conference in Sept how much their cost of care per patient went down because of deploying Healthleap (observed length of stay reduction). Patients actually heal faster here due to earlier intervention and have better health outcomes. The DRG capture is far smaller than the actual cost reduction. Overall healthcare spending goes down.
