Anything I want to post, about anything I like. A place to express myself. Mentions of taboo subjects like mental illness and loneliness will be encountered.
Wow. Haven’t used this account for so long. Had to step away for awhile for personal reasons. It is interesting to see how things have, or haven’t, changed.
... but to be honest, I feel even more #alone, #lonely, and #isolated than ever before. Even recent #therapy has shown me that I am just #invisible. #Mentalhealth is a cruel thing. It is even crueler in a world that simply does not care.
But when people say that you need to focus on yourself first, self improvement, self love, ect ect, and then you do, and get told that you are too self centred ... hmmm ...
Get the feeling that when people say that #Mentalhealth is an important issue, that what they REALLY mean is that their mental health should be the centre of the universe. Everyone else can fuck off though.
Have learnt that most people don’t care at all how you really #feel. They just want you to show that you feel whatever massages their precious fragile ego. And whatever makes them money too.
Ugh. Banned from yet another #facebook group because I dared to voice an opinion that differed from the admins. Have people really become so precious now they can't handle minor differences of opinion?
... nobody who will come over, nobody who will be there. Yes, I have had pets. They didn’t help. Yes, I have volunteered visiting elderly people. It didn’t help. You can’t connect with people who just don’t want to even make the effort to connect with you.
Even though I go to work, go to #gym, go for long walks, go out a lot and do a lot of things, it still sometimes surprises me just how #lonely#isolated and #invisible I am. It is not about putting ourselves out there, not about how much we do ...
Nobody to just be with. I sometimes think that a lot of people take even just the presence of another person for granted, and that they don’t know what it is really like to be alone, not just not have someone there at that moment, but to know there is nobody to call ...
For me personally, the ones that hurt the most is being told that I don’t deserve #affection#love#intimacy#sex because I have a #mentalillness. And I have been told that A LOT. Being told to just go and pay for any kind of physical contact is saying THAT!
One of the worst things about having a #mentalillness is feeling like you don’t have a voice. About anything. About how you #feel. About what you want in life. Even about your own #treatment. Told that your opinion on anything doesn’t matter because you have a #mentalillness.
I’ve found most people on #facebook really, really, really don’t like it if you have your own opinion. Or disagree with them. On anything, no matter the topic or subject.
It's raining. There is nowhere to go. Tomorrow is Valentines Day. I feel completely and utterly #isolated and #lonely. There is nobody to even call. And more than likely, nobody will even see or notice this ...
I’m probably the only 45 year old who has never had anything even remotely #sexual or #intimate ever happen to them. To not have anyone ever show even the slightest interest, except to laugh about it, and tell me to just go and pay for it. #lonely#loneliness#depression
Sometimes I feel like the #internet becomes an unhealthy place for me, and I have to step away from it for awhile. Too much #bullying, too many people trying to use you, too many obsessed with #money. It is not a place where anyone has your best interests at heart.
People should try being almost 45 and still be a #virgin. Not even had a first #kiss yet. Or even held hands. Or #cuddled. Or even remember the last #hug you had.
It is often just a torrent of #jokes and being told to just go and pay for it.
The stigma, and open discrimination, of people with #autism who want to experience #sex, #intimacy, #affection, and yes, even #love, is just sickeningly appalling.
