Ended this semester with a 4.3 GPA and only two B+’s on my finals (everything else being an A and one of those being an AP course as a sophomore). STUDENT athlete.
This is Jim Thorpe. Look closely at the photo, you can see that he's wearing different socks and shoes. This wasn't a fashion statement.
It was the 1912 Olympics, and Jim represented the U.S. in track and field. On the morning of his competition, his shoes were stolen. Luckily, Jim ended up finding two shoes in a garbage can.
That's the pair that he's wearing in the photo. But one of the shoes was too big, so he had to wear an extra sock. Wearing these shoes, Jim won two gold medals that day.
Congratulations to our Unified sports and Special Olympics programs on being recognized as the ONLY school in Ohio for the @sonorthamerica and @espncitizenship Honor Roll. This is a huge accomplishment and a great representation of our tremendous community! Proud to be a Bulldog!
Great time last week at @NavyVolleyball College Prep Camp!! I had a fantastic time with the coaches and found it to be a great experience to play with higher level athletes. My brother Alistair even stopped by beforehand before he left for his next class. Go Navy! ⚓️⚓️
