I finally understand what Machiavelli meant when he said, “Never play fair in a game where others cheat.” It doesn’t mean become evil. It means stop being naive. Stop bringing honesty to people who study manipulation, stop giving access to people who weaponize closeness, and stop expecting clean hands from people who already showed you they’ll throw dirt. Sometimes wisdom is not revenge. Sometimes wisdom is learning the rules of the room before the room uses your goodness against you.
@bungomaduke This is the issue with having information and not having the brain to sift marketing from reality. Dorpers are good. Keep them . Just don't buy breeders at these foolish prices you see online.
Irungu Kang'ata has said UDA should have used Affordable Housing money to make education free in Kenya.
This is one of the strongest arguments I have heard recently.
Ruto and his government seem to have completely inverted priorities.
Over Sh100 billion has been collected for Affordable Housing.
Imagine if that money had been used to make education free, reduce school fees, and lessen the need for govt taking loans.
Instead, Kenyans are being taxed for housing while the government keeps borrowing money to fund education and even roads.
It's like spending your salary on drinks, entertainment, and luxuries, then taking a loan to pay your rent.
Education is not a luxury.
It is one of the most important investments a country can make.
Yet Kenya is taxing citizens to build houses that won't help 99% of Kenyans in any way, while borrowing billions to educate its children.
That contradiction alone tells you everything you need to know about the Ruto government's priorities.
What aggravated nonsense! How do you suppose the 64 people who had been arrested over public order offences linked to the fuel price protests were released by Central Police Station OCS Chief Inspector Dishen Angoya if not through the intervention of President Charles Kanjama, SC? Not all actions require unnecessary noise!
