If you sell Framer templates, a static screenshot doesn't sell them. A scroll video does.
Built Framecast to turn any URL into one — paste your template's live link, get a clean scroll capture in a device mockup.

Hey everyone 👋
I built Framecast because every time I shipped a new feature, I'd spend an hour screen-recording my site, fighting shaky scrolls and cookie banners, then manually placing the clip in a mockup in another app.
Framecast does the whole thing: paste a URL, it records a clean scroll, you drop it into a mockup, and export — sized for wherever you're posting it. No editing timeline, no juggling three tools.
Would love your feedback, especially on what backgrounds/mockup styles you'd want to see added next!

What do you fix first on a live app this week?
the screenshots
the first 10 seconds
or the paywall
I’m on screenshots. The store is still the cheapest room I have.
@kabiroberai Shipping on a deadline and beating it is the log I want more of.
New hardware week + a tool that actually builds for it is real distribution for small apps.
@HiTw93 The unsexy pass is the product.
Accessibility labels helping an agent click the right button is a side effect worth shipping for.
Most of us skip that and add another setting.
@pmitu This is the employed version too.
Night hours go to the next feature
because a reply or a screenshot change feels like “not real work.”
The feature already exists.
The room doesn’t.
Most employed builders don’t have a time problem.
They have a hiding problem.
Polishing the app feels like work.
Putting the listing in front of strangers feels like marketing.
Only the second one finds a buyer.
@AfterimageDev Employed, shipping small products at night.
Same constraint: the week has a job in it.
Looking for people who post the ugly week, not only launch week.
@kedytcom Scaling what already converts is the adult version of indie.
Starting #4 while #1 still has a generic title is how employed builders stay busy and broke.
@kedytcom This is the unsexy week most of us skip.
New app = dopamine.
New screenshots on a live listing = actual taps.
Benefit-first > pretty device frames.
Highest-leverage move for a small portfolio isn’t a new app.
It’s the listing that already exists:
screenshots
title
the first 10 seconds after install.
New apps feel like progress.
Old listings print.
