NEW: A man has been charged with s*xually assaulting toddlers at the Galleria Mall in Houston, Texas and sharing videos of the assaults online.

This is why the death penalty exists.

Arthur Fernandez III and multiple other people allegedly assaulted 2 children between 2 and 3 years old.

The children belonged to mall workers who would bring their kids to work when they couldn't find care. Fernandez, who worked at a kiosk, would offer to watch them.

When he watched them, he would bring them to the bathroom and assault them. According to ABC13, up to seven other perpetrators were involved in the assaults.

"The perpetrators of these crimes are family members, teachers, and members of the community. Oftentimes folks are looking for the monster in the white van, but often it's the person you know," said FBI agent Torrence White.
