This is your reply? Seriously? I agree there is no white genocide, at least not stage 9 of the ten stages, but it would be hard to argue against stages 1-8.

Nonetheless, the argument put forward jn the US is not whether there is white genocide or not, its that farmers are murdered proportionally higher than even police officers. We dont like it, we wont accept it, we wont accept a standard where its okay because it happens to other people also.

You have the right to defend the causes close to your heart, but dont step on people trying to do the same by changing the discussions into something that you can defend.

Btw, Farmers put food on EVERYONE’S plates, it will hurt the whole economy when it becomes too unsafe to farm, for white, brown, Indian or black farmers.

From a compensation perspective, this highlights a bigger problem: Whose inflation are we actually measuring

In a country as unequal as South Africa, a single CPI figure can hide vastly different realities. Lower, middle, and higher income employees spend very different proportions of their income on food, transport, electricity, rent, property and other essentials.

Yet CPI often becomes the anchor for salary increase discussions.

Perhaps we need to start thinking about Tiered inflation measures by income or expenditure group? Particularly for compensation purposes. One inflation number cannot realistically represent the cost of living experience of every South African household.
