@ChadSteingraber For a xrp reserve grade asset, potentially, xrp must be minimum 50$, and a reserve grade asset usually sits 2-3 times above minimum, without counting with supply shocks and retail holders.
For this to follow, I believe a reasonable % of cross border flows, institutions relaying on xrp liquidit, stable coins, or other tokenized to route through xrp. Regulators will look and see, if this asset fails so do payments. They must act. Sort of like Basel lll. 3 years?
At some point, xrp mandatory reserves may appear. Utility may need to thrive a little bit more. But I see the bare minimum price for a settlement instrument to be around 50$, which usually goes 2-3x the minimum. Excluding supply shocks and other variables.
Each upgrade will bring liquidity to each financial market, but this is also why blockchain potentially is not a market but the new financial system itself. This means that each well delivered utility crypto project, price likely rises a lot over the years against futility coins.
