@journalism175 One new thing that I learned from #J175 is the term "Netiquette". Netiquette is another word for digital civility and is a set of rules that is designed to make sure people are staying on task and remaining respectful online.
U1A: One thing I was reminded of in this section is that it is important to use a critical lens when consuming information because, unlike in this class, there aren't always accountability measures for what people say online. #J175@journalism175
Media Fluency = "ability to reliably achieve desired outcomes through use of (digital) tech."- Briggs & Makice
Reliability is necessary for fluency. This requires consistent learning. Media is constantly changing, making it difficult to stay fluent.

The bigger idea I learned is “21st Century Skill”. This coming from the introduction of advanced technology used in today’s society. This is important for the needed knowledge and skills for today’s society from a technological point of view.
@miss_sarlar It's so interesting that the picture focuses on "me" but what is really special is that each medium has a different verb (i.e., a different purpose)!
