Part of France's #Pegase26 Mission: 4 Rafales, 2 A400Ms, 3 MRTTs & 300 crew to boost interoperability and defence cooperation.
#WATCH | Jodhpur, Rajasthan: The French Air and Space Force arrives at AFS Jodhpur to participate in India’s multinational air exercise, Tarang Shakti 2026.
#WATCH | Jodhpur, Rajasthan: Vice Chief, French Air and Space Force, Major General Dominique Tardif says, "To be a part of the Tarang Shakti exercise for the French Air and Space Force is very important in order to develop interoperability with the Indian Air Force, but also with other nations participating in this exercise.... We are very lucky to have this opportunity to train with India and other nations... France is also a nation resident in the Indo-Pacific region. That is the reason why we are very concerned about all questions related to security, geopolitics, and defense in this very large region...
On India to buy 114 French Rafale jets, he says, "This is a decision by India to continue to buy some new batches of Rafale. It is very interesting to have a common platform because when you want to develop interoperability, you need to have a technical pillar, and if you have a common platform, it's easier to have this interoperability..."
#WATCH | Jodhpur, Rajasthan: Deputy Commander of the French Air Defence and Air Operations Command, Julien Sabéné, says, "This exercise is quite important for us. That is why we went across the world just to make it here on time. Bringing four jets from the other side of the world with the PEGASE 26 mission... India is a global strategic partner of France, very important, and we want to show how committed we are to working side by side with our partner... We will have a total of seven Rafales with us to work side by side with the Indian Air Force..."
On India to buy 114 French Rafale jets, he says, "India is a sovereign country... We are so happy they are buying from the French Air and Space Force... We plan to exchange best practices... We definitely look forward to having Indian aircraft with the French-built Rafale..."

Shiv Sena UBT MP Sanjay Raut today made a series of sensational remarks, claiming that the accidental death of former Chief Minister Ajit Pawar was “not a simple incident” and that several unanswered questions surrounding the aircraft crash make the case mysterious.
"Ajit Pawar had said on January 15 that he would open the BJP’s corruption files. Within the next ten days, he died in a plane crash. This is mysterious and reminds me of the Justice Loya case," Raut said, hinting at possible foul play.
Raut further claimed that Ajit Pawar never worked on the BJP’s ideological agenda and had joined hands with the party only for power. “Cases were filed against him, and agencies like the ED and CBI were put behind him. Like many politicians, he temporarily aligned with the BJP to clear matters related to files against him. Later, he was trying to return to his political roots. Unfortunately, he died before that could happen,” Raut said.

Breaking News | A massive blast late Friday night triggered panic in Srinagar after an explosion occurred inside the Nowgam Police Station, official sources said.
The police station is the same facility that had registered a case last month related to Jaish-e-Mohammad posters, which later led to the busting of a major interstate terror module.
Initial reports suggest the blast occurred when ammunition seized from terrorists went off accidentally. Several fire service vehicles rushed to the spot soon after the explosion.
Visuals from the site showed significant damage to the building.
However, there has been no official statement yet from the authorities regarding the cause or the extent of the damage.
(Further details are awaited)
