@greatbong I have been reading it for the past week. If you wonder why it's taking so long, it's not because it's boring (quite the opposite, it's quite un-put-downable) but I've been savoring it like I eat the last luchi, one small bite at a time. I'm enjoying it very much so far.
@carlwheless You make good points. As an Indian, I thought the second dance was cringeworthy and disrespectful, but I would say the same for the white cheerleaders. However, the first woman is not in a sari. The article would have looked better without that gaffe.
@IamSanjog@Hana_b30@GMIgorSmirnov Don't speak for other languages. In Bengali, the bishop is an elephant ("gaja"), the knight is a horse ("ghoda"), and the rook is a boat ("nouko").
@ChrisJo00291974@conspiracyb0t You're aware that there are real people alive who saw it outside of TV, right? Like, almost as if it happened in broad daylight outside of a studio and people could just look up and see the planes hit the buildings with their naked eye. Green screen, huh? Were you born back then?
Many photographers are posting this #photography trend lately. It's called "What I see vs What I take". I usually don't intentionally record such pairs of photos, but here's one from my archives. Sunset at @GrandCanyonNPS shot with a @PENTAXIAN#PentaxK1 in April 2022.
@Dakkhani_menace@KaushalMok68411@greatbong Ram is the English word for a male sheep. People are having serious discussions here. Don't jump into it with your stupid ignorant theories. Lord Rama is not a male sheep.
@jk_rowling My oldest friend has been my friend from preschool, so that's almost 40 years. But we live in different countries and hardly meet. My closest friend whom I meet regularly is my friend since 2010.
