ENCOUNTERED A NEW SCAM!

My health insurance policy is due for renewal and yesterday i received a call from someone who claimed to be from @ICICILombard . The agent confirmed my details and also my policy details which matched. He then shared the premium quote which matched with the renewal notice i had already received in email days ago. I told him i was comparing quotes and would decide in a few days.

He then said that since i had not made a claim in over 5 years they can offer me a discount of 20% on the premium. I said fine, please send me a revised quote and he immediately sent me an email which looked official & had the renewal notice attached as well. He also sent me the payment link on Whatsapp.

The link to pay via payment gateway in the email was not working. Only the link to pay via UPI was working. This made me suspicious, and the UPI ID was also not seeming genuine. Then i saw the sender domain on the email and it was a parked domain 'https://t.co/Z1hfiucAGw' During this time the agent via WhatsApp kept following up, urging me to pay asap as the discount would expire. I told the fellow he's been found out and i know he's a scam artist.

Guys, please be aware of this scam. They have all your policy details somehow and anyone can trust them & pay up especially when you hear you are getting a discount on the premium. @cyberpoliceggm @ICICILombard

In a major crackdown, the Kasba Peth MLA Ravindra Dhangekar revealed that police are collecting monthly bribes amounting to lakhs of rupees from the owners of illegally operated pubs and drug traders in the city. He further stated that the superintendent of excise, Pune allegedly receives regular payments from various hotels every month, facilitated by several constables and private individuals.

This includes collections from late-night and rooftop venues in areas such as Viman Nagar, Koregaon Park, Kalyani Nagar, Bhugaon Bhukum, Baner, Hinjawadi, Pimpri Chinchwad, Lonavala, among others. The detailed list of bribes per venue and constable names involved has been exposed, revealing a monthly collection of approximately ₹ 78 lakh.

The shocking revelation highlights the deep-rooted corruption within the Pune police department, undermining the city's culture and law enforcement integrity. @DhangekarINC

But Porshe car's registeration in Pune accident case was pending since March due to non-payment of Rs 1,758 fees by the such rich buisnessman who's son killed 2 person in car accident. Car was roaming in pune without number plate.

1} Then how does this 2.6 Crore worth expensive porshe vehicle roam the streets of Pune for 2 months, flouting all the rules?

2} Why don't the traffic police, who are busy fining bikes at intersections, pay attention to it?

3} Did none of the traffic police's CCTV cameras in Pune capture this car roaming illegally?
