Dear @Ran_volley0902,
"When you try hard, it makes me want to try hard too. When you accomplish something, it makes me want to accomplish something. You make other people do well, not just yourself. I praise you for it. That's why I root for you."

❗️🇯🇵 RAN TAKAHASHI PODCZAS
WORLD VOLLEYBALL DAY'S:
🎙: - Chcę nadal pokazywać, że siatkówka to sport pełen dziecięcych marzeń. Chcę być źródłem tych nadziei, żeby choć jedno dziecko, patrząc na moją grę i moje podejście, pomyślało: "Chcę stanąć na tej samej scenie". Chce takiej siatkówki❗️

Q: If you could turn back time and return to two years ago, when you had just finished your season with Monza in Italy and were considering joining the svl, what would you say to yourself back then?
Ran: I’d tell him, "Coming to the SV.League is great!"
At the time, I didn't know if returning to Japan was the right decision, or if staying in Italy would be better. It just so happened to coincide with the launch of the SV.League, and I was completely driven by the thought of wanting to experience something new and bring more excitement to the volleyball world. So, I’d want to tell my past self, "The things you wanted to do, or at least something very close to them, have already come true."
Q: Did you seek advice from anyone back then?
Ran: I talked it over with my parents. My dad said, "Isn't it great to play in Japan too?" while my mom said, "Haven't you always said you wanted to stay abroad?" But in the end, both of their opinions boiled down to, "Ultimately, it depends on what you want to do, Ran."
Ran also stated "Rather than walking the same path as everyone else, I prefer carving out my own. I feel that venturing into the unknown and unfamiliar is an invaluable experience in itself. "
Q: If the Ran Takahashi from two years ago heard your current self say that, how do you think he would respond?
Ran: I think he'd be absolutely shocked! He’d probably say, "Wow, you actually got to experience all of that?!" Like becoming the first champion of the SV.League, performing with the national team, and winning the Finals MVP. That being said, I think a part of him would also think, "But surely you can still do even better than that," right?
Q : Is there anything you always take with you on overseas trips?
Ran : Yes, one thing I always bring is an ultrasound device. Also a pillow, it’s for the quality of my sleep, and I use the ultrasound device every day to take care of my knees, so those two things are essential. I also bring pajamas and quite a few other things. I absolutely bring sleep aids to improve the quality of my sleep.
Q : Do you prefer to eat your favorite food first or save it for last?
Ran : It depends on my mood that day. But basically, I'm the type to eat it last. I want to save it for the end. But if it's better eaten while it's hot, I'll eat it first. I decide based on the situation.
For the Asian Championship, where Olympic qualification was on the line, I have been working hard to strengthen my serve and my attacking, so I would like you to pay attention to those aspects. Also, since I consider defense to be one of my strengths, I would be happy if you could watch out for that too. I'll do my best to contribute to the team's victory.
Ran Takahashi on his speech today !!! ✨️😆❣️
"Thank you so much for such a grand welcome. I’ve really been looking forward to this training camp in Okinawa, and I’m delighted that we’ve all made it here safely.
With the Osaka round coming up, and having won eight straight matches, I want to use this time to get even stronger so we can aim for victory in Osaka as well.
As for my personal goals, I’m absolutely determined to eat "taco rice" and "Soki soba" while I’m here.
I want to make sure I accomplish that before heading home.
I look forward to a great time in Okinawa. Thank you."
Ran and his love for food 😆😋☝🏻
Bro also wants to clone himself just so the other one can play volleyball 😂
Staff : What kind of things would you make him do?
Ran : I'd make him work. I’d make him play volleyball, too. I'd make him do everything.
Staff : And what about the real Ran?
Ran : I'll just laze around. And play with Yogu.

people might’ve been like “why is Ran still in when his attack isn’t firing?”
but Ran Takahashi ain’t just offense. if his attack’s off, he’s still solid in serve, reception, and defense. that all-around game is why he stays on court—he keeps the team stable.
