No person can stop Him: no sickness, no bad break, no addiction. What are you considering? Start considering Almighty God. He spoke worlds into existence. He parted the Red Sea. He closed the mouths of hungry lions.
Prayer for Hard Times: “God, I need your help. I’m really struggling with [say what’s on your heart] and I know I can’t figure out a solution on my own. I pray that You will show me what to do. I’m listening, Lord. Help me to be receptive to Your answer and to trust that You have all my best interests at heart. Lord, help me to be a blessing even in my time of need, so that I can bring You honor. And help me remember that I’m not alone. You’ve got me in the palm of Your hand and that’s the best place to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
Confession of the Day— Sin, sickness, and death have no power over me. Old things have passed away, and I am a new creation in Christ Jesus. The life of God reigns supreme within me. The same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead dwells in me and makes every cell in my body full of life. (Reference: 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 8:11)
God is looking for people who won’t get talked out of their dreams, people who aren’t moved by how big the challenge is. The reason God is asking you to do something that’s beyond your ability is because He’s about to show you His favor like you’ve never seen.
God meets you at the level of your expectations. If you expect nothing, you’re going to receive nothing. But when you’re thirsty, you say, “God, I don’t see how, but I know You can do exceedingly, abundantly above all I can ask or think.”
