@colin28829@MarkAllenGolf Actually no. Greens vote Greens 100% of the time. Maybe check out Monique Ryan’s instagram site where she provides her voting record. It is a very similar percentage for LNP, ALP and Greens.
Facts matter
@MitchellGlenn Wow, really? In the end what we all should want is that the right decisions are made. He clearly hit it and was clearly out and the correct decision was made.
@rfcswallace Best all round defender in the game in 2019-20. Played tall and small ..incredible versatility. He lost his pace and closing speed and that’s when he started to struggle.
Tiger champion, triple premiership hero , Jack dyer medallist, all Australian and co-captain.
@rohan_connolly@Robbo_heraldsun I don’t either but it keeps on happening, since 2017. But leaving that aside when watching games I get very frustrated by holding the ball interpretation. Been watching for 50 years and have no idea how to work out the lottery now. It’s a mess, created by the AFL not the umpires.
@Richmond_TT@FOXFOOTY Remember that Sydney game when Warner kicked the ball over the fence and no 50 was explained by “common sense”?
No problem with that but there was zero common sense with the one yesterday. Clearly Dow had no idea the free was paid, common sense should have prevailed
@ClarkyHeraldSun No issue with academies and father sons. The issue is with the discount, needs to be scrapped. Also review the “secret herbs and spices” free agency compensation and scrap any compensation for mediocrity like North got this year.
Academies and F/S are great, but no discount.
@Tigers_of_Old I want to see a team that includes Sonsie and Cumberland, both highly talented but went backwards in 2023. Fast skilled wingers, Banks on one wing and play DRioli on the other.
Dusty and Bolton play lots of middle time.
Aggressive offence so if you can’t kick you don’t play.
Sadly, it is too late, but I wish Albo had split the Referendum in two. I would vote 1000% for strong, deserved, recognition of Australia’s indigenous history in our Constitution. But it is a total NO to enshrining an indigenous lobby group in the Constitution.
@joyce_peter .
Wrong.
Keating allowed XS franking credits to offest non-dividend taxes.
Meaning the dividend was taxed only at the shareholder rate, even though it was less than the company rate.

The whole basis of franking credits is to ensure profits paid as dividends only get taxed at the higher of the company tax rate or the recipients marginal tax rate, not both. Howard/Costello introduced cash refunds years ago which is what labor wanted to change
It was about those with marginal tax rates below the company tax rate receiving cash refunds of franking credits which means those profits distributed as dividends don’t get taxed at all. Franking credits themselves are just a way of making sure profits don’t get taxed twice.
