In performing it, all of “his” words and musical gestures are completely in tact. “Her”story/journey simply parallels it as she experiences his words and experiences. (Just as one baritone or tenors “interpretation” as they sing colors the music)

We have numerous referential recordings and performances of this masterwork to guest and ponder - why not look at it through a different lens that offers another way to experience it…
